Admission Requirements for Masters Degree Courses in Thailand

Overview: Duration and Language of Master’s Degree Programs in Thailand

Master’s degree requires 2 years of study beyond the bachelor’s degree course. Some programmes can also be finished in one additional day with at least 36 credits. Students must have scored an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 for being admitted into courses. Programmes comprise coursework or an additional dissertation while some programmes may be research based. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is needed in graduation for attaining access to postgraduate courses. 

Entrance Test Requirements for Master’s Programs in Thailand

U-NET: The U-NET or University National Eligibility is based on assessing operational abilities and knowledge of graduates. The UNET measures 4 basic skills namely Thai language proficiency, English language proficiency, media literacy and critical thinking.
Moral reasoning test is also a part of the UNET. 
Professional skills specific for country in association  with the Council are also assessed.

Students for the Master’s level are required to take around 9 to 15 credits per hour. Before class commences, the registration must be completed. Candidates who appear for the postgraduate programme must finish a maximum of 36 credits. They should also have a GPA of 3 on a 4 point scale. Higher education uses letter grading system which are then converted to grade points.
